OUTRAGEOUS was closest in pursuit of the lead up the backstretch, roused two wide on the turn, chased determinedly into deep stretch, then dug in late and overhauled the runner-up. SENSATIONAL Z Z sprinted to the front and dictated terms early, showed the way near the fence around the bend, led a bit off the rail into the drive, continued clear to the sixteenth pole but could feel OUTRAGEOUS bearing down, confronted by that rival late and could not hold on. ROUSING JEWEL chased outside rivals near the back, rounded the bend three to four wide and ran on to gain third. UNWRITTEN CODE tracked from off the rail, fell out of range in the three path on the turn and weakened. A ROUSING BABE tossed her head leaving the gate while still coming away with the field, raveled along the inside near the back, moved into the two path around the bend, lost a clear path briefly in upper stretch and could not rally after. ROSE OF JERICHO broke a step slow, angled in racing at the back, went three wide into the turn, chased three deep into the stretch and improved position. SAINT MIHIEL chased near the back of the pack, entered the turn in the two path, suffered a mild shuffle behind STEP IT OUT (IRE) at the three-eighths pole, steered to the inside, moved out a bit with a furlong remaining and passed tired rivals. CEE'S THE IMAGE had to steady behind the winner early, raced widest of all in the early going at the back, navigated the turn four to five wide and could not make an impact. STEP IT OUT (IRE) laid off the pace off the rail, took the turn two to three wide and failed to get involved. CHEEKY GAL chased from inside, started to weaken around the bend and tired in the stretch. A REAL JEWEL traveled in mid-pack from inside, saved ground to the stretch and came up empty.
