Footnotes
MIDNIGHT STRIKE broke out and bumped IRISH REBEL, pulled along the inside while chasing out of range of the leader, gained while easing off the rail around the far turn, tipped out widest into the stretch, drove entering the final sixteenth and won going away. LATITUDE stalked from inside, drew closer on the backstretch, saved ground through the far turn, tipped two wide into the lane, put ahead in front in upper stretch but was no match for the winner in the final furlong. MIDWAY LANE stalked the lone leader outside a rival, chased three wide into the lane, bid between in upper stretch but flattened out in the late stages. LEGAL HEIR set all the pace from inside to the top of the lane, lost command in upper stretch and weakened in the furlong grounds. IRISH REBEL took a bump from the winner at the start, settled in the two path, remained a bit off the rail to the stretch and lacked a rally. MUCHO DULCE was off slow to begin, lagged behind on the inside and never got involved.
