TROISIEME ETOILE chased after the leader inside a pair of rivals, got shuffled back a bit behind CONQUEST SUE at the quarter pole, altered two wide into the stretch, angled back inside and challenged into the final furlong, then dug in gamely to inch away from outer rivals. MAGGLES MCGEE broke a step slow, raced out of range outside rivals, drew closer three wide around the bend, tipped out and launched a bid in upper stretch but got outkicked by the winner in the late stages. MARLA HOOCH stalked between rivals to the turn, challenged between rials with a quarter mile remaining, put a head in front entering the final furlong but could not match the top pair late. CHRISTA MCAULIFFE chased outside a pair of rivals in the early going, bid three deep with a quarter mile remaining, carried a short lead over MARLA HOOCH turning for home, lost command to that rival outside the eighth pole and flattened to fourth. DANZING DAISY tracked four deep early, remained widest through the turn and failed to produce a bid. UP FOR THE HUNT chased from off the pace off the rail then between rivals, got crowded into the turn, traveled three deep at the quarter pole and failed to menace. KOOL MARIAH broke a step slow, crossed awkwardly back onto the turn costing her momentum, trailed next to the rail, angled out in the lane and improved position. GOOD GOLLY DOLLY settled inside, stayed on the fence to the stretch, altered out a bit from behind a tiring rival midstretch and failed to menace. RUN ON OM tracked two wide, ridden along on the turn but failed to menace. CONQUEST SUE sprinted clear, led unchallenged to the turn, challenged by a pair of outer rivals at the quarter pole and folded once overtaken.
