MONDEGO (GB) stalked the speed along the rail, shifted to the two path on the last turn, bid four deep past the eighth pole and edged clear late. FLASHIEST stalked outside a rival or in the two path, moved up outside the top pair on the backstretch, vied three deep through the far turn, fought between rivals into deep stretch and finished gamely in defeat. TRULY QUALITY got crowded between rivals shortly after the start, moved inside first time in the stretch trailing the field, eased over to the two path on the clubhouse turn, continued at the back two then three wide around the far turn, moved out in the lane, closed well in deep stretch and just missed out on the place honors. STAY HOT forward placed to the outside of the pacesetter early, applied pressure around the clubhouse turn, vied between rivals into and around the last bend, put a head in front in upper stretch, resisted into the last sixteenth, then flattened to fourth late. ENDLESSLY saved ground from off the pace, moved out in the lane, kept trying through the final furlong but needed to find more. TWIRLING POINT stepped to the front and angled to the inside, took pressure from STAY HOT around the clubhouse turn, held a short lead over a pair of rivals past the half-mile pole, maintained a narrow advantage through the far turn, relinquished the lead in upper stretch and weakened in the last sixteenth. GOLD PHOENIX (IRE) unhurried in the early going and settled outside a pair of rivals, crept closer while staying off the rail in the middle stages, driven three wide into the stretch and weakened. GROGU got crowded between rivals running shortly after the start, settled in the two path between rivals, drew closer on the backstretch, got put in a bit tight at the three-eighths pole, ridden along in the two path on the last turn and failed to rally.
