MAN O ROSE chased keenly in hand early, raced along the rail into the turn, tipped three wide late on the bend, moved out into the clear at the top of the stretch, challenged three deep into the final furlong, dueled outside LISTENUPSHANCE into deep stretch and edged away from the runner-up. LISTENUPSHANCE stalked outside the top pair to the turn, bid three deep at the quarter pole, seized control in upper stretch, dueled into the final sixteenth and yielded to the winner. PILOT COMMANDER away quickest, dueled inside MODUS BESTIA up the backstretch, inched ahead into the turn, vied with a pair of rivals with a quarter mile remaining, lost command in upper stretch, fought back to the eighth pole and weakened in the final furlong. SMOOTH CRUISEIN trailed just out of range up the backstretch, navigated the turn two then three wide and passed a tired rival. MODUS BESTIA dueled outside PILOT COMMANDER to the five-sixteenths pole, fought between runners late on the bend, yielded to the top pair in upper stretch and tired.
