WOUND UP shifted in to bother TRINIDAD early, pressed from inside then fought on even terms, kicked clear at the three-eighths pole, opened up on the turn and padded the margin under strong handling and flagging from the crop. HARCYN bumped hard twice with IDIOT'S GOLD early, chased from off the pace three deep or four wide into the turn, advanced while wide through the bend, could not make any headway on the winner down the lane but was able to secure second. CLEVER CLOVER chased outside a rival off the pace, between foes into the turn, had to wait for room when boxed in midway around the bend, spun three wide into the stretch, kept trying down the lane but could not get by HARCYN for second. SQUARE CAT raced up close following the top pair, took the turn two wide then came three wide into the lane and lacked a rally. IDIOT'S GOLD bumped hard with inner rival twice early, traveled three deep at the rear to the turn, came four wide into the lane and failed to threaten. TRINIDAD bothered by outer rival and lost his action early, tracked from inside out of range, was ridden along on the turn but had to pause behind a rival at the quarter pole, continued inside into the lane and weakened. COME OUT FIGHTING stalked the top pair outside a rival, weakened three wide on the turn and faded in the stretch. OLD TRIANGLE got blocked behind TRINIDAD and shuffled early, traveled inside a pair of rivals at the back into the turn, saved ground to the stretch and was never a factor. STAN FROM MALIBU showed good early foot then fought outside the winner for the lead, could not keep up at the three furlong marker, weakened around the bend two wide then along the rail and tired in the stretch. MR. BIG HEART lacked room running up behind TRINIDAD early and had to steady, traveled between rivals at the back after, had to check at the three-eighths pole, trailed two wide around the bend and was never a factor.
