AMORITA displayed good early foot to take command while racing keenly in hand in the two path, controlled the pace to the far turn, took pressure from POLYTHENE PAM at the three-eighths pole, cleared that rival in upper stretch, met bids from RESOLVE AND TAKE ANOTHER CARD in deep stretch and gamely prevailed. RESOLVE rated along the inside, stalked behind the frontrunner through the far turn, coaxed along still on that rivals heels in upper stretch, tipped out at the eighth pole, dug in between rivals late and just missed. TAKE ANOTHER CARD stumbled slightly at the start, settled on the inside, swung four wide leaving the far turn, rallied from outside and fought three deep late but lacked the needed late punch. TEQUILAANDTHERAPY tracked the speed from the two path, tipped three wide on the far turn, finished willingly down the lane but could not summon the needed late kick. TIGERISH broke a bit slow, laid off the pace in the two path, remained two wide through the far turn, angled out in upper stretch and could not rally. POLYTHENE PAM was closest in pursuit from the two path, challenged AMORITA from outside with three furlongs remaining, could not go on with that rival in upper stretch and weakened. FIRENZE FLAVOR broke a bit slow, was rank early at the back of the pack, traveled two wide around the first turn, saved ground through the second bend, moved out in the lane and could not make an impact.
