ESSENTIAL LADY pressed the pace from outside, headed the leader at the five-sixteenths pole, cleared into the stretch, remained unchallenged into the last sixteenth, got run down by DARYA (IRE) late but was able to hold. DARYA (IRE) got shuffled back at the start, reserved on the inside early on, got boxed in between rivals from the five-sixteenths pole to the quarter pole, angled to the rail leaving the far turn, steered back out in upper stretch, flew late and missed. CORTINA D'AMPREZZO (IRE) forwardly placed in the early going on the inside, moved to the two path at the quarter pole, chased determinedly through the lane but finished evenly late. DARING PURSUIT settled three then two wide early, chased three then four wide around the far turn, summoned a mild rally and rounded out the superfecta. CHANNEL PLACE hit the gate and broke a bit slow, tracked trailed along the rail then moved into the two path around the first turn, remained in the two path to the far turn, tipped three wide around the bend, angled out in the lane and also produced a mild rally. EGYPTIAN MISTRESS unhurried in the opening stages, traveled two wide then along the rail early, moved back off the fence a bit on the far turn, steered out in the lane and improved position. CHAIR'S COIN (IRE) traveled in mid-pack two wide early, asked three wide through the far turn and never responded. YURAK raced up close three deep, remained three wide around the far turn and weakened down the lane. ZURAYA (GB) set the pace from inside under pressure, headed at the five-sixteenths pole, relinquished the lead with a quarter mile remaining and folded in the stretch. SHANE'S THE BRAINS broke out, followed in range between runners or in the two path and weakened in the lane. SPLIT pulled up on heels along the inside around clubhouse turn, continued in hand up the backstretch, let loose at the five-sixteenths pole, got put in tight briefly into the stretch and had little left for the drive.
