TOM'S STAR pressed three deep to the turn, moved up on even terms at the quarter pole, seized control in upper stretch and drove clear. DADDYGAVEITTOME pressed between rivals up the backstretch, fought head to head late on the bend, battled to the eighth pole, then failed to kick on with the winner but was clearly second best. PLAY FOR ME led inside a pair of rivals in the early going, headed by outer pair with a quarter mile remaining, lost command at the top of the lane, weakened in the furlong grounds but was able to save third. BITTER TRUTH broke in and bumped, chased from off the pace, raced along the rail then tipped to the two path, moved out further in the lane and kept trying to the wire but missed third in a photo. SIEMPRE NAMAN raced outside a rival toward the rear, rounded the bend two then three wide and could not make an impact down the lane. SMILING RAPPER bumped leaving the gate, trailed two wide into the turn, steered out at the quarter pole, spun four wide into the lane and was never a factor. MY ELIANA chased from off the rail then angled in for the turn, started to weaken around the bend and tired in the stretch. PALACE MISCHIEF traveled near the back on the inside, ridden through the turn, trailed into the stretch and was never a factor.
