YACOWLEF (IRE) settled off the pace, took the turn three then four wide, closed well from outside, reeled in the leaders with a sixteenth left to run and drove clear. ANMER HALL sat off the pace outside a rival, chased three wide leaving the dirt, angled out in the lane, came with a late run but was not enough. LYLE THE CROCODILE (IRE) saved ground from off the pace, moved out in the lane, rallied between runners and gained third. CHARGE FOR GOLD pressed from outside down the hill, dueled into the stretch, put a head in front with a furlong remaining, clung to a short lead at the sixteenth pole and yielded late. DECAPO stalked the top pair in the early going, raced along the inside early on the turn then eased off the fence to the three path, bid three deep at the eighth pole and failed to find the needed late kick in deep stretch. BURNING RUBBER tracked from inside down the hill, put in a mild bid along the fence in the lane but flattened late. BALLYVAUGHAN GIG set the pace under pressure, fought on even terms coming into the stretch, relinquished the lead at the eighth pole and weakened late. HELICITY tracked three wide into the turn, exited the bend in the four path and never responded to urging. MOONLIT SONATA trailed on the inside, angled out crossing the dirt and failed to threaten. CRAZY CAVALIER got crowded leaving the gate, unhurried in the early going, raced outside a rival through the turn, moved out in the lane and failed to menace. SHADY TIGER saved ground from well off the pace and could not make an impact in the stretch. DOUBLE JAB chased out of range in the two path under coaxing and faded in the lane.
