CHARLIE'S CURLIN tracked two wide out of range early, was on the move three deep around the far turn, bid three wide turning for home, seized control in upper stretch, cleared SHARONS PHAROAH in midstretch and held safely under urging. KOEKKOEK (GB) settled off the pace outside a rival, cleared inner rival early on the far turn and moved to the rail, shifted back to the two path late on the turn, tipped out at the top of the stretch, closed well through the lane to gain second but could not reach the winner. SHARONS PHAROAH established the front quickly and found the rail, showed the way unchallenged to the quarter pole, confronted by CHARLIE'S CURLIN coming into the stretch, offered little resistance to the winner, stayed on through the final furlong but was outfinished for second. DINKUM stalked from inside around the first turn, drew closer between rivals on the far turn in the two path, then flattened out in the final furlong. GHOSTWRITTEN tracked along the fence then inside a pair of rivals leaving the backstretch, hit the rail at the three-eighths pole but was largely unaffected, crept closer around the bend, then weakened down the lane. POSTMODERN broke a step slow and brushed at the start, laid off the pace along the inside, brushed the rail near three-eighths pole, stayed on the inside to the stretch, then came off the rail and lacked a rally. RIVO was off slow to begin, trailed on the inside to the stretch, moved out in the lane and passed a tired rival. STAN THEMAN MUSIAL broke in and brushed POSTMODERN, saved ground from well off the pace and was never a factor.
