MIYAKO broke well then stalked the leader from outside in the early going, drew alongside with a quarter mile remaining, put HOW LOVELY (IRE) away midstretch and drew away. MISS MEAGHER (IRE) stalked between rivals then moved inside, drafted behind the leader through the turn, moved off the fence in upper stretch and finished willingly to gain second. HOW LOVELY (IRE) took control from inside, got pressured by MIYAKO at the quarter pole, was overtaken in upper stretch and flattened to third. PRINCESS MIDNIGHT broke a step slow, trailed up the backstretch, was on the move from the rail then two wide at the quarter pole, had to pause when lacking enough space between rivals turning for home, then found room and came under a ride again but flattened out in the furlong grounds. HEADSTRONG WAYS bothered by outer rival and checked early, trailed two wide around the turn, angled widest in the lane and passed tired rivals. LADY MONCLAIRE allowed to settle in the early going, drew closer three then four wide on the turn and flattened out in the lane. MIZ CLUBCALI raced off the rail while chasing within striking distance, crept closer three deep on the turn, then weakened in the stretch.
