WHISKYGINANDBRANDY raced up close in the three path, applied pressure to the leader on the backstretch, got floated out dueling around the far turn, carried a short lead into the final furlong and maintained the short advantage over MAJESTIC PALISADES to the wire. MAJESTIC PALISADES took control early and led two wide around the first turn, pressured by outer rival up the backstretch, drifted out dueling on the far turn and lost command, fought back gamely through the lane but had to settle for second best. THE GYPSY COWBOY trailed on the inside through both turns, moved off the fence in the lane, came with a late run between rivals and earned the show honors. REFOCUS followed in range from the two path, chased between runners still in the two path into the far turn, angled out and came five wide into the stretch, took aim at the leaders into the final furlong but flattened out in the late stages. OUBABE dropped off the pace three wide then tucked inside midway around the first turn, stayed on the fence to the stretch and produced a mild rally. STOLEN TREASURE stalked along the rail, ridden along on the far turn, tipped out into the last quarter mile, chased within striking distance in the lane but failed to produce a bid. RUNKERRY forwardly placed four wide early, chased three deep into the second bend, weakened around the far turn and churned on to the wire. MISCHIEFS CAUSEWAY sat off the pace two then three wide early, stayed off the rail to the stretch and was never a factor.
