MAN CHILD fought four deep for command up the backstretch, vied three deep past the quarter pole, put away inner rivals in upper stretch, met the challenge from TEQUILA TALKIN and held that rival off through the final furlong. TEQUILA TALKIN pressed five deep to the turn, chased five then four wide around the bend, re-bid in upper stretch but lacked the needed late punch to get by the winner. NAVY MAN got bumped and took up when losing his path at the start, traveled outside a rival at the back, rounded the bend two then three wide, came with a late run and earned the show honors. CAROL'S COMIC sat off the pace and moved inside, tipped outside a pair of rivals on the turn, moved out further in the lane, rallied but needed to find more late. ROGUE SON lacked early speed, raced along the fence, tipped out leaving the turn and showed a mild response to improve position. MAGIC ACCOUNT broke in and bumped, went up to fight for the lead three deep between rivals, fought in the two path still between foes turning for home and folded down the lane. HAYWOOD vied inside several rivals up the backstretch, continued to battle along the fence through the turn and gave way in the stretch. BLUE CHEESE OLIVE got knocked around at the start, tracked off the rail then two wide around the bend and failed to menace. PRINCE PRANCEALOT brushed by outer rival in the beginning, challenged for the lead between foes to the five-sixteenths pole, could not keep up with a quarter mile left to run and tired in the lane. IMMELMANN brushed with inner rival then bumped with outer rival shortly after at the start, chased from off the pace, saved ground through the turn and had little left for the stretch run. FOLLOWING A STEWARDS' INQUIRY, MAGIC ACCOUNT WAS DISQUALIFIED FROM SIXTH TO EIGHTH FOR BREAKING IN AND CAUSING A CHAIN REACTION BETWEEN RIVALS AT THE START.
