GRACIE'S BIG DAY stalked four deep up the backstretch then angled into the three path nearing the turn, moved into the two path while creeping up around the bend, lacked room briefly behind the top pair entering the lane, then split foes when finding a seam, put a head in front at the eighth pole, surged clear shortly after and won going away. CIOPPINA PASADINA pressed the pace between rivals outside the leader, fought on even terms around the turn, took the lead entering the lane, fought three deep in upper stretch, lost command at the eighth pole, could not go on with the winner in the furlong grounds and managed to hold second. NOSTRI VIRES pressed the top pair from outside to the turn, chased three wide around the bend, churned on down the lane but could not get by CIOPPINA PASADINA for second. PRINCESS DADDY coaxed from the gate, chased outside rivals leaving the backstretch, went three to four wide around the bend and weakened. LIQUID SPIRIT fractious in the gate, was backed out and reloaded, accelerated to the front and showed the way early inside rivals, dueled around the turn, lost command exiting the bend, bothered a bit while starting to weaken outside the eighth pole and flatted to fifth. THIRSTY MAMA chased from off the pace on the inside, asked left handed two wide leaving the bend and failed to respond. FAITHFUL TRUTH fractious in the gate, raced outside a rival off he pace, dropped back to last on the turn, spun three wide into the lane and failed to menace.
