MILLBO BAGGINS dueled inside QUALITY GOLD up the backstretch, held a short lead over that rival while in the two path on the turn, dug in gamely through the lane and held off challengers on both sides. HUNGOVER bumped with inner rival early, raced up close behind the top pair on the inside, waited for room then was coaxed along late on the bend, challenged from the fence through the lane and finished a game second. QUALITY GOLD dueled from outside to the turn, battled in the three path around the bend, fought three deep down the lane, lacked the needed final kick and got edged for second. SUNK COST FALLACY stalked the dueling leaders outside a rival, had take a slight hold when running closely behind MILLBO BAGGINS into the turn, waited in the two path around the bend, came under a ride at the top of the lane but lacked room when boxed in in upper stretch, finished willingly following behind the leader and with rivals on both sides in the final furlong but was unable to find clearance to advance. GILCHRIST bumped with outer rival in the early stages, trailed up the backstretch, saved ground around the turn, moved off the fence in the drive and failed to respond.
