CORPORAL VIOLETTE (IRE) dueled from inside, cleared CHAI around the far turn, kicked away in upper stretch and maintained a comfortable lead to the wire. CAMERON SLOUGH tucked inside at the back, trailed two wide leaving the backstretch, angled four wide around the far turn, summoned a mild rally and bested the rest. SHE'S SPLENDID tracked from inside through both turns, moved off the fence a bit in the lane, kept trying but failed to find more in the furlong grounds, got outfinished for the place honors but was able to hold on for third. CROSSANNA laid off the pace on the inside, ridden along the fence around the second bend, stayed on the rail through the lane and almost got by SHE'S SPLENDID for third. ISSA COURT stalked in the two path to the far turn, tipped three wide midway around the second bend and could not answer the call in the lane. SAKURA FLAVOR (IRE) settled between rivals in the two path, continued between runners on the far turn as well, moved out and bumped DEA MATRONA (FR) in upper stretch and lacked further response. DEA MATRONA (FR) unhurried outside a pair of rivals early, remained three deep to the stretch, took a bump from SAKURA FLAVOR (IRE) in upper stretch and weakened. CHAI dueled from outside to the far turn, could not keep up with the winner around the bend, chased two wide to the stretch and retreated.
