DAKOTA'S SHADOW pressed four deep to the turn, remained closer four then three wide around the bend, vied three deep turning for home, cleared inner rivals in upper stretch and held safely. PRIDE OF QUEENS chased from well off the pace in the early going, exited the backstretch in the three path, angled to the two path then steered back out for the stretch, came with a late run to gain second but was unable to reach the winner. TAMMY BABY chased after the top quartet in the opening stages, angled from the two path to the four path on the turn and flattened out in the furlong grounds. OM TIME GAL broke a step slow, trailed up the backstretch, saved ground on the turn, passed a rival into the stretch, moved out in the lane and picked off more tired opponents. DARLIN SUGAREE raced up close inside the top trio, got put in a bit tight on the turn, tipped out at the quarter pole, spun three wide into the lane and weakened. CRUNCHY chased from off the pace well off the inside, went four wide into the turn, angled to the three path late on the bend, raced outside a rival turning for home and was never a factor. VICTORIA'S JEWEL pressed the pace between rivals to the turn, dueled inside LITTLE TINKER ELLE past the five-sixteenths pole, fought with outer pair into the lane and tired. LITTLE TINKER ELLE sprinted to the front and showed the way three deep between rivals, dueled from outside past the five-sixteenths pole and folded in the stretch run.
