TIYARA stumbled leaving the gate, tracked from inside to the stretch, tipped out with a sixteenth remaining, challenged BEAR'S BOARDS late and got up in time. BEAR'S BOARD stepped to the front and moved inside, showed the way under pressure from FLAMINGO STAR to the far turn, cleared that rival around the bend, remained unchallenged into deep stretch, then came under threat from TIYARA late and got nailed on the line. FAMOUS FORZA stalked in the two path outside a rival around both turns, tipped out at the top of the stretch, finished well in deep stretch but lacked the needed final kick. ANYWAYTHEWINDBLOWS (GB) was off slow in the beginning, angled to the inside racing at the back, stayed on the fence before easing over to the two path late on the far turn, steered out widest in the lane, rallied from outside but was outkicked in the late stages while getting floated out a bit. FLAMINGO STAR stalked along the inside into the first turn then switched to the outside and latched onto the leader, pressed the pace to the far turn, could not match strides with that rival and chased two wide through the bend, then weakened in the drive. DONDE ESTA JEFE broke a bit slow, tracked outside a rival at the back, angled in late on the far turn and was never a factor.
