TIGGRRR WHITWORTH stumbled leaving the gate, recovered and showed speed inside FIGHTING THUNDER before steadying early, chased two wide through the turn, latched onto FIGHTING THUNDER in upper stretch, dueled into deep stretch and dug in to edge the runner-up. FIGHTING THUNDER showed speed outside TIGGRRR WHITWORTH early then cleared and crossed over, set all the pace to the stretch, met the bid from TIGGRRR WHITWORTH in upper stretch, resisted into the final sixteenth and yielded grudgingly in the end. OTTIS BETTS was off slow to begin, chased from off the pace, angled to the inside, paused at the seven-sixteenths pole, tipped out to the three path on the turn, finished willingly down the lane and earned the show honors. BRETTS ACCLAIM broke inward, dropped back when hit with the kick back, angled out late on the backstretch, raced three into the turn, angled to the two path and was a bit green on the turn, churned on down the lane but failed to make an impact. RAND GOOD was off slow to begin, trailed on the inside into the turn, passed a rival turning for home and was never a factor. GRAZEN TOGETHER broke in, followed in range from off the rail, dropped back three then four wide on the turn and tired.
