ANGELICA BAY (IRE) settled inside off the pace, moved to a forward position through the backstretch, bumped with outer rival into the far turn, waited behind the leader through the far turn, bumped with FIRE BAN in upper stretch, challenged between rivals and dug in gamely for the victory. JUSTIVAR challenged for command from inside then cleared around the first turn, set all the pace to the stretch, met bids from outer trio, resisted into the final sixteenth and yielded grudgingly to the winner. FIRE BAN showed early speed outside JUSTIVAR then took a stalking position around the first turn, chased in the two path between runners on the far turn, bumped with ANGELICA BAY (IRE) in upper stretch, fought three deep into deep stretch and finished a game third. HOLLY GOQUICKLY (FR) broke a step slow, trailed on the inside to the far turn, eased out around the bend, chased three deep into the lane, moved out and rallied five deep, battled outside the top trio late and ran out of ground. ISNTSHELOVERLY broke a step slow, laid off the pace on the inside then in the two path on the clubhouse turn, saved ground through the second bend, trailed into the stretch and passed tired rivals. GHOSTESS raced in mid-pack from the two path, closed in outside a pair of rivals in the middle stages, asked three deep around the far turn, took light contact in upper stretch then bid four deep but flattened in the late stages. GLOBAL CONSORT stalked a bit off the rail around the first turn, ran up on heels and had to check while bumping with inner rival late on the backstretch, rounded the far turn in the two path and weakened.
