IDESSIA got put in tight and had to take up early, angled inside a pair of rivals to chase after the leader, was closest in pursuit turning for home, tipped out at the top of the lane, dug in entering the last sixteenth, took over in the final forty yards and held off the runner-up. STRANGE ADDICTION trailed the field two wide into the turn, picked up stride while angling out to the four path around the bend then came back to the two path past the quarter pole, angled in then back out while closing in on the leaders, got by CYPRUS MOON for second but ran out of time to pass the winner. CYPRUS MOON sped clear and set the tone in the opening stages, saved ground on the front-end through the turn, continued clear to midstretch, then came under threat from IDESSIA in the final sixteenth and was passed by the top pair. ALERAMO (IRE) laid off the pace on the inside, shifted to the three path early on the bend but lacked room and got shuffled behind GIGGLE GIGGLE, passed that rival and came two wide into the stretch, then pick off a few more tired opponents down the lane. SHAMROCKIN stalked between rivals to the stretch in the two path and faded in the drive. MIZ CLUBCALI stalked the lone speed outside a pair of rivals, remained three wide through the turn and weakened. GIGGLE GIGGLE chased between rivals then in the two path, dropped back around the bend, eased in the lane and walked off.
