GALLOPING GHOST rubbed the gate and broke inward to come away last, moved to a forward position on the outside, bid three deep on the turn, dueled into the lane, lost command at the top of the stretch and drew clear from the runner-up. MATT AT FIVE dueled from inside, held a short lead through the turn, battled with GALLOPING GHOST into the lane, lost command in upper stretch, drifted in and shied from the rail a bit shortly after and stayed on through the final furlong for a clear second. POSITIVE TIMES stalked the speed from inside, ridden along around the bend, cut the corner into the lane and was no match for the top pair. MY MAN JOE ROLDAN chased between rivals to the turn, navigated the bend two then three wide and weakened in the lane. ONE STEP BEYOND dueled from outside to the five-sixteenths, fought between rivals with a quarter mile remaining and folded in the stretch. OMISSION ran up on heels and steadied early, raced along the rail into the turn, angled to the three path then shifted back to the two path late on the bend while lagging behind and failed to threaten in the stretch run.
