KEITHING THUNDER set the pace on the inside, remained unchallenged into the lane, headed at the eighth pole, found more in deep stretch and gamely prevailed. PRINCE DOLCE tucked inside off the pace, saved ground to the stretch, closed into the final furlong, lacked room midstretch, then surged between rivals late to gain second and ran out of ground to pass the winner. WARM SUN AND BREW stalked from inside, followed behind the leader through the far turn, challenged in upper stretch and got outkicked in the late stages. KING OF DRAGONS went four wide into the first turn then shifted down to the two path, pulled on the backstretch, was on the move three then four wide around the far turn, bid four deep into the final furlong but got outkicked by the top trio. GOLD COUNCIL tracked from inside, dropped off the pace on the backstretch, drew closer into the far turn, raced along the rail then two wide on the second bend, angled out in the lane and chased within striking distance but lacked the needed late punch. HIGHPLAINSDRIFTER got bumped between rivals on the first turn, asked two wide through the second bend, bid three deep between runners in the lane but got outkicked. SPEED OF ELON angled to the rail on the first turn trailing the field, eased over to the two path on the far turn, offered a mild response in the lane and improved position. INFINITUM got bumped leaving the gate, trailed three then two wide early, got shuffled behind a rival on the far turn and checked at the quarter pole, went three wide into the lane and failed to rally. FREEPORT JOE bumped leaving the gate, was a bit rank towards the rear in the early going, rounded the bend three then four wide and failed to menace. MINISTER SHANE was forwardly placed three deep and got bumped by inner rival on the first turn, remained close up the backstretch, started to weaken past the five-sixteenths pole and tired in the stretch.
