SPLENDORA stepped to the front and set the pace under pressure from BLESS THE BROKEN to the outside, cleared that rival at the midway point, showed the way under confident handling on the far turn, given her cue in upper stretch, drew off into the final furlong and coasted the last sixteenth. BLESS THE BROKEN prompted the pace from outside, chased after SPLENDORA past the half-mile pole, asked in the two path through the far turn, remained within striking distance to upper stretch, watched the winner kick away in the final furlong but stayed on for a clear second. OM N JOY tracked the top pair from inside, fell back to last on the far turn, angled out past the five-sixteenths marker, came four wide into the lane, kept trying down the lane and gained the show honors. SIMPLY JOKING trailed two then three wide around the clubhouse turn, went outside OM N JOY on the backstretch, found the rail midway around the far turn, steered off the fence in upper stretch and faded. NAFISA stalked the top pair from outside, asked in the three path on the far turn and tired down the lane.
