PHOSPHORESCENCE (FR) set the pace with JIMMY BLUE JEANS applying pressure to the outside, raced on even terms into the far turn, came under a ride around the bend, lost command at the quarter pole, fought back to regain the lead outside the sixteenth pole and gamely prevailed. VANTASTIC tracked the leaders in the two path, roused midway around the far turn, tried to split the top pair in upper stretch but had the opening close and altered to the outside, finished gamely through the final furlong but came up short in the end. JIMMY BLUE JEANS pressed the pace from outside, headed the lead exiting the backstretch, put a head in front at the quarter pole, battled into the final furlong, relinquished the lead with sixteenth remaining and was outfinished by the top pair. KAWAZAKI (IRE) saved ground towards the rear, went between rivals at the five-sixteenths pole, angled out in upper stretch, produced a mild rally and rounded out the superfecta. UNCLE HAPPY reserved in the beginning on the inside, went two wide into the far turn, moved to the three path briefly before moving back in slightly, also summoned a mild rally and improved positions. ONE OF THESE DAYS (IRE) unhurried in the opening stages and moved to the two path, chased three deep at the quarter pole but failed to rally when called upon. AH JEEZ reserved outside a rival at the rear, navigated the far turn three then four wide, paused cautiously when going between rivals midstretch and failed to threaten after. CATHAL (IRE) hustled from the gate to a forward position outside the top pair, chased three to four wide turning for home and weakened. DAKOTA COUNTRY pursued in range from the rail position, dropped back around the far turn and weakened in the lane.
