ANOTHER ZERO showed the way under pressure from LYNDEE'S DREAM, shook free in upper stretch under hand urging, ridden along to the sixteenth pole and lightly nudged late. CHRISTA MCAULIFFE stalked the speed from outside, took aim three wide into the lane, could not keep up with the leader in upper stretch and stayed on for a clear second. LA SILENCIOSA was off a bit slow to start, raced off the pace four wide into the turn, moved into the three path around the bend and was along for the show honors. LYNDEE'S DREAM pressed the pace from outside up the backstretch and around the turn, yielded in upper stretch and weakened in the final furlong. SUSAN YVONNE raced up close early, chased two wide into the lane and faded out of contention. SURPRISE D' ORO broke a step slow, tracked from inside out of range, saved ground through the turn, moved out in the lane and lacked further response. LITTLE ORIGINAIRE lacked early speed, trailed outside a rival into the turn, had one beat two wide exiting the bend and could not make an impact. KAFFY came away cleanly then dropped back when climbing early, trailed on the inside on the turn and was not a factor in the stretch.
