NO MORE DING DONGS dueled from outside, inched ahead on the turn, put away inner rival near the quarter pole, challenged by MAGIC CONNECTION exiting the bend, maintained a short lead into deep stretch and gamely prevailed. MAGIC CONNECTION got crowded between rivals shortly after the start, settled off the pace then chased within striking distance up the backstretch, made a move four then three wide on the turn, challenged from outside turning for home, hounded the winner through the lane but lacked the needed late punch to get by. NOVINOPHOBIA chased along the inside into the turn, shifted into the two path at the quarter pole, could not threaten the top pair in the final furlong but kept on for a clear third. ALOHA CHROME raced off the rail inside a rival towards the rear, took the turn two wide, moved out in the drive and offered a mild response to round out the superfecta. TYPHOON TOMMY attended the pace outside the top pair early, chased three wide on the turn, four wide into the lane and weakened. PAT CAN'T COUNT trailed well off the rail early, came six wide into the lane and passed tired rivals. GREY POWER coaxed along racing just out of range early, lost ground on the inside through the turn, steered out in upper stretch and failed to menace. SCATIFY dueled from inside to the turn, kept the pressure on the winner around the bend before yielding inside the quarter pole, then gave way in the stretch run. CANYAHEARMEKNOCKIN was off slow to begin, traveled outside a rival near the back, took the turn three to four wide and came up empty. TIGER STRENGTH forwardly placed outside rivals early, chased two wide on the turn, spun three wide into the lane and tired.
