Footnotes
GHAZAALY stalked two then three wide on the clubhouse turn, applied pressure from outside at the halfway point, took over dueling on the far turn, kicked clear into the lane and was kept busy to the wire. MAGNIFY rated two, three, then four wide around the first turn, chased three deep up the backstretch, rounded the far turn two then three wide, finished willingly to gain second but could not threaten the winner. BIG BET JAFINSAFA trailed along the inside then in the two path on the first turn, passed a tired rival on the second bend while angling out, came four wide into the stretch and offered a mild rally to earn third. COWBOY MIKE showed the way early under pressure from inner rival, cleared that rival at the five-eighths pole, pressured by GHAZAALY at the half-mile marker, dueled around the far turn and lost command, yielded to the new leader entering the lane and weakened in the drive. BERLIN WALL stalked next to the rail then in the two path, between rivals on the backstretch, saved ground around the far turn, asked left handed nearing the lane but lacked the needed response. VOLDEMORT pressed the pace from inside to the backstretch, lost touch with the leader at the five-eighths marker, started to weaken leaving backstretch, tired on the far turn, eased into and down the lane and walked off. MC VAY stumbled badly and lost the rider at the start, ran around the outside of the course before being caught on the backstretch, then walked off the track. THE STEWARDS REVIEWED THE START OF MC VAY AND RULED THAT HE CAUSED HIS OWN PROBLEMS AT THE START AND IS CONSIDERED A STARTER.
