Footnotes
GRANDISIMO settled on the inside, gained ground up the backstretch, put in a rail bid early on the far turn, took over midway around the bend, cleared outer rival at the top of the lane and was kept busy to the wire. WHITE MOUNTAIN was off slow to begin, trailed two wide into the first turn then quickly found the rail, crept closer in the middle stages, saved ground through the far turn, asked right then left handed in the lane, chased determinedly after the winner through the lane but had to settle for second best. FINCAIRN showed speed four deep into the first turn then angled over to the inside, challenged by GRANDISMO inside the seven-sixteenths pole, lost command at the five-sixteenths marker, drifted three wide into the lane and weakened. MISCHIEF MOMENTS got put in a bit tight and suffered a minor shuffle on the first turn, raced outside a rival at the back on the backstretch, moved to the four path quickly on the far turn and could not threaten down the lane. SMILING TIZZY raced up close three then two wide early, crept closer outside a rival on the backstretch, asked three wide around the far turn and faded.
