HEY BROTHER stalked the top pair up the backstretch, challenged from outside near the quarter pole, kicked clear into the lane and held safely over the late run from the runner-up. BROADWAY UNIONS traveled at the back well off the rail then moved to the three path entering the turn, quickly found the two path, angled out and bumped a rival turning for home, finished well and closed in on the winner in deep stretch but was not enough. WINDS OF FREEDOM got crowded between rivals early, chased four wide into the turn, came five wide into the lane and gained third. BINGING pursued in range three wide leaving the backstretch, asked around the bend, got bumped in the four path coming into the lane and got outkicked by WINDS OF FREEDOM for the show honors. WINDRIBBON settled on the inside, tipped off the rail at the five-sixteenths pole, swung out late on the bend and could not threaten. CAROL'S COMIC trailed two wide into the turn, angled five wide around the bend and improved position. HABEAS coaxed along chasing up the backstretch, asked along the fence through the turn, stayed inside down the lane and could not rally. THE BIG CHEESEOLA dueled from outside to the quarter pole, could not kick on the winner approaching the stretch and weakened in the drive. DEVIL MOON dueled for command from inside, lost the lead at the quarter pole and tired in the stretch.
