Footnotes
CAPTAIN CHOOCHIES stalked the pacesetter, edged nearer to apply pressure to that one coming to the quarter pole, bid between foes in the stretch, dueled to the wire and got the nod. BALLADEER was quick to take the lead, shifted in on the first turn set uncontested pace from the inside, was pressured coming to the quarter pole, headed in upper stretch, dug in gamely fighting on to the wire but just missed. CENTRODELANTERO stalked from outside three wide not far off the early leader, continued three to four deep on the far turn, bid near the furlong marker putting a nose in front, battled the remainder of the way while three abreast but lost tough decision on the wire. NAMARON (GER) was just a bit hard to control along the inside and in behind runners into the first turn, was patiently handled saving ground off the pace, ran into traffic past quarter marker, came out in upper stretch looking for room, shifted out further and finished best while four deep on the wire. RASTAMAN VIBE settled off the pace outside a foe two to three wide, advanced on the far turn moving out five wide leaving that bend, ran on but needed more. IRON MAN CAL settled mid-division off the inside in the two to three path, advanced between foes past the three-eighths and followed winners' path into the stretch, lacked room while behind traffic in upper stretch and could only run on evenly. LORD BULLINGDON settled off the pace removed from the fence, went four wide on the far turn, floated seven deep turning into upper stretch, failed to menace. TEMPUS VOLAT was lightly bumped after the break, taken a strong hold wrangling back heading into the first turn, tracked from inside saving ground, blocked behind rivals and forced to pause in upper stretch, then was shuffled back and not persevered with late. DEER DISTRICT lacked early speed, chased inside, took apparent bad step midway on final turn, then was pulled up and walked off. Theoriginal second place finisher, BALLADEER, was disqualified from purse money per HISA Ruling. (Riding Crop Violation)
