LOVE LOCK sprinted to the front and set the tone up the backstretch, led along the rail through the turn, dug in under left then right handed urging and held the runner-up at bay. TWISTED HUMOR was closest in pursuit outside a rival early, asked two wide around the bend, chased determinedly through the lane but lacked the needed late punch. CAN YOU DREAM chased in the two path entering the turn, driven three wide into the stretch and finished evenly in the final furlong. BIG MISS tracked three deep in the early going, moved out to the four path briefly on the turn then angled down to the two path, kept trying down the lane and earned minor award. BIG COIN bothered by outer rival a bit leaving the gate, moved up close from inside, saved ground to the stretch and weakened. SOUTHERN RIFF was off a bit slow to begin, trailed two wide and was never a factor.
