ROLLINWITHPOLAN vied inside a pair of rivals up the backstretch, inched ahead into the turn, dueled with SHADY GEM around the bend, maintained a short lead over that rival through the lane and gamely prevailed. SHADY GEM vied three deep in the early going, dueled outside ROLLINWITHPOLAN on the turn, fought through the lane but could not get by the winner. OTTIS BETTS dwelt at the start to spot the field several lengths in the beginning, trailed on the inside into the turn, made progress around the bend, finished strong through the lane and got up for third while gaining on the top pair to the wire. DEBBIES GETTINGHOT chased from inside, tipped out around the bend, offered a mild response in the lane but got edged for third. KIKI RIDE fought for the lead between rivals in the opening stages, failed to keep up with the top pair but remained close in the two path on the turn and churned on to the wire. HUNGOVER chased outside a rival up the backstretch, got moved out around the turn, came four wide into the lane and failed to find more. I'MALWAYSTHIRSTY chased from off the pace,, rounded the bend three wide and failed to menace. THE STEWARDS REVIEWED THE START OF OTTIS BETTS AND RULED THAT HE WAS AWARDED A FAIR START AND IS CONSIDERED A STARTER.
