CELESTIAL SKIES attended the pace outside the top pair, fought for command three deep around the bend, seized command in upper stretch, showed the way into the last sixteenth and held gamely over the runner-up. DADDYGAVEITTOME chased from inside, coaxed along on the turn, rallied up the fence but got denied. BITTER TRUTH tracked out wide in the early going, angled in for the turn, waited two to three wide behind the leaders, tipped out in upper stretch, finished willingly and earned the show honors. DANCING THRU FIRE raced up close four deep in the early going, chased widest through the turn and weakened down the lane. PLAY FOR ME raced up close from inside then vied with outer rival up the backstretch, put a head in front on the turn, relinquished the lead in upper stretch and weakened. WEST FRESNO quickly took control then fought with rivals on both sides in the early going, lost command early on the turn but continued to battled between runners around the bend, stayed on to upper stretch then weakened in the final furlong. SMILING RAPPER trailed on the inside, steered off the fence past the quarter pole, came three wide into the lane and passed a tired rival. LITTLE ORIGINAIRE shifted in a bit at the start, steadied briefly not too long after, angled to the inside, saved ground to the stretch and had little left for the drive.
