FLYOVER away quickly to take control, led along the rail through the turn, showed the way two wide entering the lane, carried a comfortable to the eighth pole and padded the margin under right handed urging and strong handling. ON THE WHIM lost his shoe while making light contact with SPEED WILSON leaving the gate, got put in tight between rivals and checked early, tracked two wide at the back around the turn, moved out over the dirt, summoned a mild rally and got up for second. MAN O ROSE brushed with ON THE WHIM at the start, stalked in the two path, moved out late on the bend, was closest in pursuit with a furlong remaining, lacked the needed response and lost second late. DROP UM broke a step slow, chased from inside down the hill and failed to respond when called upon. SPEEDY WILSON tracked the lone speed three wide, steered out crossing surfaces and weakened in the stretch run.
