GREY'S BOY followed in range from off the rail, angled in for the turn, tipped back out and came three wide into the stretch, collared the leader outside the sixteenth pole and drove clear. IRISH REBEL settled inside, hugged the rail to the stretch, finished well next to the fence, then tipped out late and got by RUNNING SPARTAN for second. RUNNING SPARTAN sprinted clear and moved inward, remained untested to the eighth pole, got run down by the winner with a sixteenth remaining, flattened out late and lost second. MAXIMON raced up close then had to take up when crowded early, dropped to mid-pack and traveled outside a rival, moved out in the lane and kept on to earn a minor award. BROHEIM was closest in pursuit through the early going, rounded the bend in the two path then moved inside approaching the stretch, came back out in the lane and flattened. SAND BAGGER lost his path and checked early, got boxed in along the rail on the turn, shifted out into the clear in upper stretch, closed into the final sixteenth but ran up behind rivals and had to put the brakes on, costing him all late momentum. IMA TRACK STAR laid off the pace and moved inside, saved ground around the bend and failed to menace. MISSILE CRUISER raced outside a rival near the back, traveled three wide or three deep on the turn and was never a factor. SILVER ICE chased from off the pace outside a rival, remained two wide to the stretch and could not make an impact. R DANNY BOY was off slow to begin, trailed on the inside and was never a factor.
