GOING DEEP set the tone along the inside, met a bid from PAVEL'S ETOILE at the three-eighths pole, put that rival away in upper stretch, came under threat from FRENCH MOONLIGHT late and was able to hold. FRENCH MOONLIGHT pulled in a bit first time through the stretch then settled into stalking position, ridden along past the quarter pole, challenged from the fence in deep stretch but could not get by. PAVEL'S ETOILE was closest in pursuit in the two path, challenged from outside at the three-eighths pole, got turned away in upper stretch and was able to hold third. QUANTUM INNERGY trailed on the inside to the far turn, eased out to the three path on the far turn, tipped out at the top of the lane. SHE'S A JOKER followed in range in the two path, asked three wide on the far turn and failed to respond in the lane.
