Footnotes
ELSA DUTTON stalked three deep early, challenged two then three wide outside the leader around the bend, fought on even terms turning for home, edged clear at the eighth pole and drew away. MISS HOT AND COLD broke out, tracked from outside, raced in the three then four path on the turn, drifted in some in the lane and ran on for second. DAD'S BAD BUNNY showed the way up the backstretch, took pressure from ELSA DUTTO into the turn, maintained a short lead along the rail then in the two path, dueled into the lane, lost command in upper stretch and flattened to third. MONTAGE BLUE raced up close between rivals then moved inside, chased from the fence around the bend and tired. DESPITE paused when bothered by MONTAGE BLUE coming out early, trailed two wide into the turn, lost ground through the bend and weakened in the drive.
