CHANNEL PLACE followed in range from the two path, crept closer on the backstretch, bid three deep on the far turn, put a head in front at the quarter pole, disposed of inner rival turning for home and held safely under urging. JUSTIVAR reserved on the inside early, drew closer in the middle stages, picked up stride two then three wide around the far turn, finished willingly down the lane but had to settle for second best. HOLLY GOQUICKLY (FR) unhurried in the beginning and moved inside, remained on the fence to the far turn, asked while shifting to the two path on the far turn, tipped out in the lane and kept on for a clear third. ISNTSHELOVERLY raced outside the leader in the opening stages, got floated out at the three-eighths pole, returned to the two path and weakened in the drive. SPRINGLINE stalked the speed from the rail position, shifted out and bothered rivals at the three-eighths pole, angled back to the inside, lacked room from upper stretch to the sixteenth pole, then moved out to a clear path but was never a factor. GLOBAL CONSORT set the pace next to the rail with ISNTSHELOVERLY to the outside, fought with a pair of rivals on the far turn, lost command at the quarter pole and gave way in the stretch. VELVET LILLY settled in the two path, moved out three deep in the middle stages, got floated five wide at the three-eighths pole, angled back but was not persevered with after the incident.
