POOR CONNECTION tracked in the two path to the far turn, ridden along while easing over to the three path on the far turn, rallied three deep between runners into deep stretch and outgamed ROSTOVSKY in the final strides. ROSTOVSKY settled in the two path then found the rail on the clubhouse turn, went two wide into the second bend, angled out and came four wide into the stretch, rallied four deep into the final sixteenth and got outclosed by the winner. AMPLITUDE stalked the pace along the rail, ridden along on the far turn, moved out and put in a bid in upper stretch, fought between in deep stretch and got outkicked. SNEAKING CANDY showed speed outside TRIBAL then cleared that rival and moved to the rail, controlled the pace up the backstretch, took pressure from TRIBAL on the far turn, put that rival away in upper stretch, threatened by several rivals in the furlong grounds and yielded late. PROUDLY HAILED (GB) unhurried in the opening stages, saved ground along the inside, moved into range on the backstretch, patiently handled around the far turn, roused turning for home and could not summon the needed late kick. COPP trailed on the inside, moved out and passed a rival into the far turn, rounded that bend three then two wide, angled out in the lane and could not threaten. TRIBAL showed speed inside SNEAKING CANDY then ceded command to that rival near the finish line, remained close in the two path outside a rival, challenged from outside around the far turn, got turned away by SNEAKING CANDY in upper stretch and weakened. HORNSBY settled off the rail, went three then two wide around the first turn, dropped back under coaxing in the middle stages, angled to the rail, asked left handed on the far turn and had little left for the drive.
