FREE AND HUMBLE controlled the pace from inside, remained unchallenged to midstretch, threatened by SAKURA FLAVOR (IRE) late but was able to hold. SAKURA FLAVOR (IRE) tracked in the two path, drew closer under urging on the far turn, latched onto FREE AND HUMBLE in the final sixteenth but could not get by. ALERAMO (IRE) tracked the speed from the rail position, moved to the two path on the far turn, asked right handed at the top of the stretch and finished willingly to nail GIGGLE GIGGLE for the show honors. GIGGLE GIGGLE settled two then three wide in the early going, chased within range into the far turn, drew closer three deep around the bend, finished evenly late and lost third. MAXIMUN GOLD was closest in pursuit along the inside, hugged the rail to the stretch and lacked the needed response when called upon. SHAMROCKIN slipped leaving the gate, unhurried after and angled over to the inside, steered out on the far turn and flattened in the final furlong. STRANGE ADDICTION trailed two wide to the far turn, got moved out to the three path then returned to the two path and had little left for the stretch run.
