MO' EM DOWN raced up close on the inside, waited behind the leader through the turn, tipped out crossing the dirt, rallied three deep in the final furlong and edged inner pair for the victory. WILL HAPPEN stalked two wide into the turn, drew alongside STILL UNWRITTEN at the quarter pole, dueled into the final furlong, took a narrow lead midstretch fighting between rivals and got outkicked by MO' EM DOWN in the last sixteenth. STILL UNWRITTEN sprinted clear, angled to the rail for the turn, took pressure from WILL HAPPEN with a quarter mile remaining, resisted to the eighth pole, lost command shortly after, fought back inside the top pair and finished a game third. STRUCK BY HER (IRE) followed in range in the opening stages, traveled along the rail into the turn, eased out around the bend, came four wide into the stretch, chased within striking distance down the stretch but finished evenly late. MARJORAM stumbled badly leaving the gate, trailed to the turn, went two wide around the bend, altered sharply to avoid fallen runner crossing the dirt and showed late run through the lane. BEAR'S BOARD tracked from the two path, moved out over the dirt and lacked further response in the lane. SOUTH BAY laid off the pace in the early stages, ran two wide through the turn, came out across the dirt and was never a factor. COSMIC HEAT dropped well off the pace in the early, saved ground around the turn, jumped then fell crossing onto the dirt and was transported off the track via equine ambulance.
