TAPALO dueled from outside, inched ahead of TESSUTO past the five-sixteenths marker, put that rival away in upper stretch and held well over CODY BOY through the final furlong. CODY BOY showed brief speed then ceded command to the top pair, stalked from off the rail, went three wide around the bend, loomed boldly outside TAPALO down the stretch but could not summon the needed final kick. TESSUTO sent for the lead and fought inside TAPLO for command, stayed with that rival through the turn, then yielded in upper stretch and flattened to third. UNBRIDLED VISION stalked the top pair from inside, steered out at the top of the stretch and weakened. KID DYNASTY chased from inside the moved off the fence in the early going, rounded the bend in the two path and failed to rally. SPEARFISH broke a step slow, tracked out of range off the rail then three deep, remained three wide around the bend and weakened.
