Footnotes
HE'S A KNOCKOUT sprinted clear and set the tone up the backstretch, led along the rail through the turn, remained comfortably in front under urging into deep stretch and held safely. TRUMP ERA laid off the pace in the opening stages, went two wide into the turn, chased three deep at the five-sixteenths pole, four deep at the quarter pole, spun three wide into the lane, finished determinedly down the stretch but had to settle for second best. ALLEQUIN SUMMER trailed well off the rail in the early going, angled from the four path to the two path on the turn, steered out into the lane and gained third. SCATALOTADINGDONG traveled on the inside near the back, picked up stride on the turn, went between rivals and ran into brief traffic at the quarter pole, tipped out into the lane and improved position. TAMARANDO BEACH chased from out of range briefly then moved into striking distance outside rivals, angled to the rail around the bend and weakened in the drive. ORIGINAL ONE chased from off the pace, two wide into the turn, three deep at the quarter pole, moved out at the top of the lane and weakened. PETRAKOS stalked from inside, lost some ground leaving the backstretch, got shuffled back at the quarter pole and weakened. ROLLINWITHPOLAN raced up close two wide leaving the backstretch, found the rail around the bend and tired. JOKER WENT WILD took a brief hold early, chased from off the pace staying away from the rail, dropped back three then four wide on the turn, angled down to the inside, tired and eased in the lane and walked off.
