JANE AUSTEN stalked the top pair two wide into the turn, chased a bit off the rail leaving the bend, moved out a bit to take aim at QUICK BROWN FOX, drew alongside with a sixteenth remaining and wore down the runner-up. QUICK BROWN FOX dueled for the lead from inside, put away outer rival past the quarter pole, led clear to midstretch, met the bid from JANE AUSTEN in deep stretch but could not hold off the winner. MS BO J stalked the top pair from outside, went four wide into the turn, asked three wide late on the bend, loomed from outside with a furlong left to run but faltered in the late stages. QUEEN OF NAPLES dueled outside QUICK BROWN FOX for command, came under a ride to keep up around the turn, lost touch with the leader past the quarter pole and weakened in the stretch. STRIKINGLY tracked the dueling leaders five wide into the turn, eased down to the three path and also weakened.
