COFFEE IN BED tracked three then four wide on the first turn, moved closer five deep in the middle stages, challenged three deep on the far turn, put a nose in front at the eighth pole, battled three deep to the wire and gamely prevailed. SUPER SHINE (ARG) bumped with inner rival at the start, vied three deep then two wide between rivals on the clubhouse turn, lost touch with the leader for a bit on the backstretch, moved up to take command at the quarter pole and cleared inner rival, met the bids from outer rivals on the far turn, battled along the rail through the lane and finished gamely in defeat. DESERT DAWN settled in the two path, moved into range four deep in the middle stages, bid between rivals in the three path on the second bend, continued to fight from between foes to the wire and proved a game third. BLUE DREAM MACHINE bumped with SUPER SHINE (ARG) leaving the gate, vied between rivals into the clubhouse turn then ceded command, came under a ride leaving the backstretch, steered out and came four wide into the stretch and earned a minor award. TURNERLOOSE bobbled leaving the gate, trailed three to four wide on the first turn, advanced three deep on the second bend and flattened out in the final furlong. PRINCESS BETTINA vied inside a trio of rivals then took control into the backstretch, cleared early on the backstretch, lost command at the midway point, chased after the new leader into the far turn, dropped back on that bend, eased in the lane and walked off. LIBERAL LADY hopped slightly at the start, went up to vie four then three deep early, chased outside rivals up the backstretch, started to weaken on the far turn, eased in the drive and walked off.
