ETERNAL REIGN (IRE) controlled the pace from inside to the top of the lane, set down for the drive and held safely over the runner-up. REHEARSAL (IRE) was forwardly placed on the inside, drafted behind the leader through the far turn, roused at the top of the stretch and moved off the fence, finished determinedly in the late stages but had to settle for second best. LANILLA tracked from inside, fell out of range on the backstretch then moved back into striking distance for the far turn, moved into the two path early on the bend, chased three deep in upper stretch, lacked the needed response in the final furlong but kept on to secure third. INTERPLAY settled along the rail, crept closer on the far turn, tipped out into he stretch, cut back to the inside and could not rally. GREEN ZONE trailed on the inside, cut the corner into the lane, lost a clear path and altered out in upper stretch but failed to threaten in the final furlong. LADY MARYANN traveled in the two path near the back of the pack, asked around the far turn while angling to the four path, tipped out further at the top of the lane and failed to menace. ANYWAYTHEWINDBLOWS (GB) stalked the leader from the two path, followed in range two then three wide on the second bend and failed to respond when called upon. ANGELICA BAY (IRE) was closest in pursuit from the two path, asked right handed at the quarter pole and tired down the lane.
