NINETEENTH HOLE tracked the pacesetter from the rail position, roused on the far turn, took aim two wide into the stretch, got bumped by BOOKED CLUBHOUSE in the final furlong, dug in late and edged GOING NOWHERE for the victory. GOING NOWHERE vied between rivals into the first turn then ceded command to DANZING WILD CAT, stalked up the backstretch, challenged from outside at the three-eighths pole, put a head in front with a quarter mile remaining, battled into deep stretch and got outkicked by the winner. HIGH KING stalked along the inside then moved into the two path on the first turn, raced between into the backstretch, ridden along between foes in the two path on the far turn, moved out in upper stretch and got up for third. DANZING WILD CAT vied with a pair of outer rivals then took full control around the clubhouse turn, challenged by GOING NOWHERE at the three-eighths pole, relinquished the lead late on the bend, fought back from inside into deep stretch but could not summon the needed final kick. DOING TIME started moving right before the gate opened and came away slow, steered to the inside trailing the field, angled five wide around the far turn and came with a belated rally. BOOKED CLUBHOUSE laid off the pace on the inside, crept closer in the middle stages, hugged the rail through the far turn, angled off the fence and bumped a rival midstretch, then ran up behind the top pair and clipped heels in deep stretch and was not persevered with after. BIG VENGEANCE saved ground towards the rear, tipped out at the five-sixteenths pole then returned to the inside, moved out under left handed urging in upper stretch and offered a mild response to close the gap late. BENNY'S PUZZLE sat off the pace outside a rival, went three deep into the far turn, chased four deep at the quarter pole and had little left for the stretch run. STAR OF DELHI vied three deep into the first turn then ceded command and took a stalking position, weakened three wide around the far turn and tired in the lane. THERE WAS AN INQUIRY INVOLVING SEVERAL RUNNERS IN THE FINAL FURLONG. FOLLOWING A REVIEW, THE STEWARDS RULED THAT BOOKED CLUBHOUSE CAUSED HIS OWN PROBLEMS BY ENTERING A TIGHT SPOT WITHOUT SUFFICIENT CLEARANCE AND THERE WOULD BE NO CHANGE.
