Footnotes
UNCLE CHILLY tracked in the two path, moved into second approaching the five-sixteenths pole, latched onto MAJESTIC PALISADES with a quarter mile remaining, took over in upper stretch, put that rival away at the eighth pole and was in hand late. MAJESTIC PALISADES stepped to the front from outside, cleared and crossed over, took pressure in the middle stages, cleared outer pair with three furlongs remaining, confronted by UNCLE CHILLY at the quarter pole, relinquished the lead in upper stretch, yielded to that rival but was well clear of the rest. THE GYPSY COWBOY traveled in the second flight along the rail, trailed up the backstretch, moved to the two path on the far turn to pass a rival, cut back to the inside and bested the others. CRYPTO RIDE forwardly placed on the inside then shifted to the two path on the clubhouse turn, pressed the leader from between runners on the backstretch, could not keep up with MAJESTIC PALISADES at the three-eighths pole, chased two then three wide around the bend, tired in the lane but was able to preserve a minor placing. MICI'S EXPRESS was fractious in the gate, reserved in the early going from the three path, stayed off the rail to the far turn, chased two wide into the lane and proved no menace. ROYAL 'N RANDO unhurried in the opening stages, steered to the two path, traveled three deep on the backstretch, went two wide into the far turn, came four wide into the stretch and was never a factor. FIX IT QUICK raced up close outside the top pair, fell out of range three to four wide on the far turn and tired in the drive. SPEED OF ELON settled in the two path, saved ground next to the rail on the far turn and came up empty in the lane.
